My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Baby is an 8 year old pretty princess who desires to be the only pet in a household. She is terrified of dogs, and has not been thriving with our other two cats (male, fixed). She's all fluff, very lightweight (~9lbs) when picked up, although she does not want to be picked up or held. Loves being petted for as long as she wants. Has a sweet little demanding meow when she wants your attention.

We got her in October 2023, after my aunt passed. She has taken a while to really warm up in our house, likely because of the other cats. When we got her and took her to the vet, we found out she had resorption of her teeth (significant decay) and we paid for her surgery to get the teeth removed (roughly $1200).

She is extremely anxious around our other cats. They do seem to chase and swat at her a lot, they've given her a few marks on her face. We've since kept her in a room by herself and she seems to like that better. She needs to be the only pet in the household for her to really thrive.
