Meet Harper

Harper is a 2.5-year-old, 11-pound dog with a heart as big as her desire for a fresh start. Originally part of a neglectful breeding case, Harper is now searching for a loving forever home. Despite her rough beginnings, Harper exudes sweetness and tranquility. Her gentle nature suggests she would fit in well with a family that includes children. Harper's favorite pastime is snuggling up with her human companions, spreading love and warmth wherever she goes. If you're looking for a cuddle bug to fill your home with affection, Harper is the perfect companion.

Additional adoption info

All of Dogs in our care are Spayed/Neutered, microchipped, Heartworm Tested, Vaccinated, and kept current on flea and heartworm preventative. Our adoption fee's are puppies under 6 months-$150, dogs over 6 months-$95, and purebred dogs vary. All of the Cats in our care are Spayed/Neutered, microchipped, Fiv/FeLV Tested, Vaccinated, and kept current on flea preventative. Our adoption fee's are kittens under 6 months-$70 and cats over 6 months-$50.

We do have an adoption application and do not do same day adoptions.

Go meet their pets

We are open Monday Thru Friday 10am-6pm and on Saturdays from 10am-2pm. We do recommend calling in advanced to make sure we will be open on weekends as we do attend offsite adoption events frequently! Call to make sure the dog you are interested is still at the shelter.

The Hill Country SPCA was chartered as a 501(c) (3) non profit organization in the state of Texas in October, 1997. We are a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter providing services to the Texas Hill Country. Our funding comes strictly from donations, grants, and fundraising events. We are not supported by tax dollars.
