This animal is a Courtesy Post. We are working with the owner to rehome Penny.
The owner would like for you to still submit an application with us to adopt Penny.
The Furry Paws Foster Inn cannot guarantee the vetting that the owner has done for Penny and it would be up to the new adopter to obtain these records from the current owner.
Below you will find the bio for Penny by the owner:
4y/o German Shepard mix neutered and up to date on vaccines. Very affectionate and loves to cuddle. Anxious during thunderstorms and will want to hide in the bathroom. She loves to go on walks in the park or wooded areas but hates being near busy streets. Great with children especially smaller children. She is patient and will sit next to you for hours while you work. House trained and will alert you when she needs to go out by tapping on the door. She does get frightened when outside by herself and sometimes will not go unless someone is outside with her. Loves making new people friends and will hang out with a cat but she does not like other dogs especially small dogs. She has become aggressive in the past when a stray dog came on property. Responds to simple commands sit, come, stay, lay down, back up, no. All she really wants is someone to spend time with her and give her affection.
*You will have to pay the adoption fee to The Furry Paws Foster Inn $50 when adopting.
We will get him microchipped (if not already) at no cost to you!

More about this rescue
The Furry Paws Foster Inn is a very small based rescue.
We mainly help stray kittens get off the streets and into loving homes. Sometimes friendly adult cats and dogs do come through the inn looking for homes themselves.
There is no set time limit for how long an animal can remain in our adoption program. As long as an animal maintains general good health and a sound temperament, we keep him or her until adopted. We work diligently to pair up adopters with the best animal match for their homes and lifestyles.
To make sure that our dogs and cats do not contribute to the pet overpopulation problem, every one is spayed or neutered that comes through the inn. The cost is included in the adoption fee, as are the costs of shots and other necessary care
