My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Single mature gentleman looking for love.

This handsome, mild mannered, fun loving guy is seeking a fun loving, mild mannered family for a lifetime of tail wags and kisses.

He understands how important good manners are and hopes you will give him the chance to show you how truly special he is.

*Now for the important stuff: **BEING FOSTERED IN DANBURY, CT**
Theo is a hound mix about 6 years old with impeccable house manners. He will greet you and your guests with smiles and tail wags.
He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and preventatives.
He gets along with other dogs, and people of all ages and sizes.
If you would like more information on this handsome boy, or would like to add him to your family, the first step would be to complete an adoption application which can be found on our website
www.fortheloveoflabs.org

Please email Theo at tcole7333@yahoo.com

More about this rescue

For the Love of Labs is in existence because late one night a group of people saw a picture of a Labrador Retriever online that was going to be euthanized in a high kill animal shelter the next morning. For most of the night there were messages sent, phone calls coordinated, donations made, people volunteering to do anything, and fast friends made - all for the sake of a little yellow female lab who looked terrified to be stuck in a dark, scary animal shelter. Remember: We do not just save Labs. We try to help most breeds that are in danger of euthanasia.

The next day, the efforts paid off. The yellow girl was rescued before she could be put to sleep that morning. It was the beginning of a new day for Iko and it was also a beginning for that group of people. They realized that they had something special going on and they formed a rescue group to help even more Labradors in the same predicament.

Since then the people of For the Love of Labs have worked together to rescue, transport, and place labs in safe, loving foster and permanent homes. These Labradors are also returned to health by responsible vetting, heartworm prevention and spaying or neutering.

Now each dog has a new chance at life - all For the Love of Labs.
