My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Winnie,

This sweet babycakes was found on the mean streets of Houston at barely 3 months old.  We are thinking she was dumped because she knows sit and is very friendly and not fearful like some puppies born on the streets.

Winnie is working hard to learn her manners and already knows to go to her crate at night to sleep and for eating. She is super playful with her foster sister and the human kids there too.

Winnie is only 3 months old so that comes with all the puppy things. She redirects very easily when chewing a sock instead of toy and goes to the back door when she needs to tinkle.

Go meet their pets

Scout's Honor Rescue does not currently have its own facility to keep the animals in its adoption program. All animals in our program are fostered by individuals who keep the dog or cat at their residence until it is adopted. Consider opening your home to a dog or cat in need. You become the caregiver to a precious animal – their future is in your hands! It is incredibly rewarding to know that you have given that animal the two most precious gifts- Life and Love. For many of them, this is the first kind hand they have known.
