My name is Mickey!

Looking for an experienced and/or responsible loving owner for my grandmother’s cat, Mickey Mouse. My grandmother is passing away, which leaves Mickey without an owner.

I am from NY and unfortunately cannot stay longer than a few days. I must return Thursday. I had no clue that Miami rescues are so overpopulated with cats. I’ve called about 40. :(

Mickey is approx. 10 years old. We are not certain. She is neutered, has had consistent vaccinations until 2020, and we have an appointment scheduled Wednesday to get her up to date.

She has nails, and is an indoor-outdoor cat, but has the potential to adjust to becoming an indoor cat. She stayed inside for a month when my grandma was unwell without any trouble. She seems to get along with the other cats in the area, and does not seem to scratch people for furniture. She also loves to be pet, and apparently, to sleep on our suitcases ☺️
