My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet sweet boy Glacier, an approximately 3 yr old, 60 lb lovebug! This amazing boy approaches life with so much *joy*! If you’re looking for a companion that will greet you happily at the door, excitedly welcome guests, and even tag along on adventures, Glacier is the boy for you!

Glacier is potty trained, crate trained, leash trained, knows basic commands, and has recently completed a board & train to help him be his best self! He is very receptive to corrections and thrives with some structure. He’s been doing great in his foster home, where he jogs alongside foster mom as she bikes! He also had a temporary stay in another foster home while foster mom was away, and did amazing with the foster’s shmedium dog. He loves to play with other dogs but is just as serious about his nap time! He’ll happily snuggle up to you and sleeps through the night without incident.

Glacier is food motivated and loves it when his training involves treats! He enjoys puzzle toys and stuffed kongs, and will happily munch away at them when foster mom is on a call.

Glacier would love to have a doggy sibling that also enjoys playing; he had so much fun playing with his recent foster sis! His routine with foster sis consisted of morning play time, looootttsss of nap time, a burst of energy, then lots more naps (lol). He loves to play tug with other pups if they like that too!

Check out Glacier’s feature post on Facebook here.

Glacier’s adoption donation is $210 and will include neuter, microchip and age appropriate vaccines.  Please follow the link below to submit an application:  https://bit.ly/3GDey

More about this rescue

The mission and vision of Hunter’s Village Rescue is to save dogs in need by placing them in loving forever homes. We are a foster home based nonprofit dog rescue located in the Hunter’s Creek Community (SW Orlando), Florida. HVR has identified a need in our community to assist, rescue, provide medical care, shelter, safety and love for abandoned and unwanted animals. We aim to instill in our community an awareness of these animals and encourage people to value animals while treating them with respect and kindness. We provide screening of all adoption applicants and assure dogs are placed into loving and nurturing forever homes. HVR provides these needed services through donations from our community and fundraising events.
