Bristol does everything with quiet exuberance. She is not a barker or whiner, she has been a happily independent pup from the time she was found alone and on deaths doorstep. Her rescuer said she had a definite will to live.
She has slept in a room by herself. She loves playing eating and sleeping when it's time. She never complains about anything.
She is very outgoing and has no issue meeting new people at our events. In her foster home she plays with another puppy and loves it. We expect her to be around 30 pounds when grown. Since she was found alone we don't know who her parents were so this is based on age and weight when found. She is a great pup and will be a perfect companion for a family.
Found in someone's yard, dehydrated, weak, eyes covered with discharge, scabs all over body. Poor young helpless pup needed immediate attention.
All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, micochipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.
