My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Felica, a sweet soul with a gentle spirit. Her years have bestowed upon her a wisdom and calm that only time can cultivate. Felica`s shyness is a part of her charm. She`s not one to demand attention, but she appreciates a gentle stroke and a soft voice. Felica`s world is one of quiet moments and tender care. She`s a companion who will listen to your day without interruption, purring softly by your side. Adopt Felica to bring a serene presence into your home, a companion who will offer quiet comfort and unconditional love.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
