My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This girl is called Gemma and she is a 5 year old German Shepherd girl that is looking for a Shepherd savvy owner.  This girl is 65 pounds and has come through much in her life and surfaced as a great survivor and ready to embrace a good life.  Her foster mom and dad taught her how to trust, how to love and how to be a wonderful and endearing Shepherd that just wants love.   Gemma needs a fenced yard, a patient and dog savvy Shepherd person that understands her brain psyche and that she is a jewel ready to be continually polished to a shining bright star.  Gemma will be a great dog to love and go on walks and adventures.  She is good with other dogs and cats and also has been around young children. Let’s talk…let’s meet in the middle to make Gemma a part of a great family!  Could it be you!?     Contact ccrnewengland@gmail.com

PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.

Additional adoption info

Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We are a full volunteer rescue organization. All of our animals are kept in loving foster homes, receiving the best care possible. A completed application must be submitted and approved to meet with our dogs/pups. A completed application helps us determine compatibility and also helps us to ensure a successful adoption.

More about this rescue

We are a dedicated group of rescue volunteers who desire to find loving homes for animals who have been placed in shelters and are in grave danger of euthanasia. Our heart's desire is to provide you with a loving companion for many years to come.
