My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boomer is a 8.5 year old Sheppard mix. We got him from KC Pet Project at 6months old. He’s still very energetic and acts like puppy at times. He is a fantastic jumper (he can jump up to 6ft in the air), but does not jump our fence. He comes when called and knows basic commands. He is great with cats but hasn’t been around other dogs. I assume he would do well with a puppy but may be too energetic for an older dog.

We have loved on him for all these years, but as he’s gotten older his anxiety has gotten worse and he can no longer tolerate being around our toddlers. He’s growled at them which makes us nervous. He’s fine with older kids.

We are very sad to see him go but we have to think about the safety of our toddlers.
