My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you ready to add beauty and a whole lot of energy to your life? Meet Ella, our one-year-old Catahoula Leopard dog mix with a stunning and unique coat that's sure to turn heads wherever she goes. Ella has a high energy level and adventurous spirit. She is also a clever pup that would thrive in a home with a job to keep her mentally stimulated. While Ella may not be suited for apartment living, she's the perfect companion for an active family with plenty of room to roam. She'll shower her family with love and loyalty, when she is happy and content. Positive reinforcement training would be a bonus for Ella to help her reach her full potential. If you're searching for a devoted and energetic canine companion who's as beautiful as she is intelligent, then look no further than Ella. Come meet this special girl today and discover the joy of welcoming her into your home and heart! Apply for Ella at heberspringshumanesociety.com

Ella’s adoption fee is $100.00 and includes first shots, worming, and sterilization. Optional microchipping and registration is available for an additional $20.00. Please fill out an adoption application at heberspringshumanesociety.com and a volunteer will contact you. The adoption application is NOT on Adopt a Pet. You must apply on our Heber Springs Humane Society website.

More about this shelter

Our orginzation was founded by Doug Bakko. Funds were raised to build the original shelter on land donated. The shelter has since been expanded using donations and fund raisers. We are the only Shelter in Cleburne County. Our operating funds come from our Thrift Shop, donations, fund raisers and some assistance from the city of Heber Springs, surrounding towns in Cleburne County. We work very hard keeping animals happy and healthy. We do this because we love animals and want to give them a safe haven and every chance possible to go to a loving home.
