Mae is sensitive soul looking for a quiet, loving home to bring completion to. She thrives with patience and love and is very much seeking connection with someone she can trust. Mae is low energy and would make a great addition for a low energy family or single person looking for companionship.
Mae currently lives with other dogs and does well with them. She can be very timid when first meeting new dogs but will warm up with time. Mae does not currently live with cats, but we suspect she will be fine with them given her gentle demeanor. Mae currently lives with children and does great with them. Mae is a couch potato who likes to snooze for much of the day.
Mae is working on house-training, but is making progress with supervision. Mae came from a horrendous hoarding situation where over 80 dogs were living in deplorable living conditions, so she is still learning many of the doggy basics and working on trust. But she is a sweet girl and is slowly coming out of her shell.
Mae is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for complimentary private and/or group training to help ensure a successful adoption.
