My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FREYA

Freya is a young adult Belgian Malinois mix. She is current  on vaccines, spayed, has completed heartworm treatment and is current on prevention.

Freya loves to snuggle, getting pets and is by all accounts, a low energy Malinois.  She is very smart, loving, great on leash and is solid on obedience.  She is being fostered with other dogs and has met several dog savvy cats and Freya has done great.

This sweet girl gets along with everyone, both kid and adult friendly.  Her foster has taken her out to "people watch" and said Freya can be a bit scared of some big men, but once the meeting is complete, she does fine.  Freya is crate trained but will need a strong crate as she is very smart and can get out of a regular crate when she gets bored.

Freya is an exceptional girl looking for her forever home.

More about this rescue

Sauver Des Chiens German Shepherd Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer, foster-based 501(c)3 organization based in Texas. At this time we service Texas and Louisiana. Our passion and our mission is to rescue neglected, unwanted, and abused German Shepherd and Large Paw Dogs with the goal of finding them a new permanent and loving home. All dogs receive full veterinary care, including spay/neuter, positive training and necessary behavior modification before they are ready to adopt. These dogs come from stressful circumstances and are give a few weeks to de-compress before being offered for adoption. We do this for the love of animals. #bethatsomeone #foster #volunteer #adopt #theirlivesmatter
