Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Scar, an approximately 2-year-old male German Shepherd mix. Scar came in with his friend, Mufasa, as a stray and after not being claimed they are both up for adoption. Scar and Mufasa seem to get along well with each other, but we have not had the opportunity to try them with any new dogs at the shelter so a meet and greet will be necessary if you have other dogs in the home. Scar has shown some barrier aggression behavior but has not had a problem when out with Mufasa. Scar has been friendly with all of the staff, but has been a little more tentative with our male volunteers. Scar would definitely benefit from some basic obedience training and working on his socialization skills as he is very hyper and strong. Scar is up to date on his Bordetella and DAPP shots and has an appointment set on 04/17/24 to be neutered, microchipped and get his rabies vaccination. If you are interested in meeting Scar, call the shelter to set up an appointment to meet him at 928-636-4223, ext. 7!
