Say hello to the amazing 6 year old King. Kind arrived at the shelter on 04/04 along with his siblings Oxford and Fritter through no fault of their own when their owner was arrested. Although stuck in runs in a very loud shelter they have weathered it all and kept their amazing personalities. Kind is quiet but playful. He knows to sit, stay and lay down. At 72 pounds he is a big fellow but it is 72 pounds of pure love. King is current on vaccines, neutered and tested negative for heart worms. You will find him waiting in run 811 and his ID# is 655669. Oxford is sharing his run and Fritter is in run 834. They do not need to be adopted together but they would be so happy if they were.

Cobb County Animal Services was established in 1971. As part of Cobb's Department of Public Safety, we serve the entire county, protecting the residents and animals of Cobb.
The mission of the Cobb County Animal Services Unit is to enforce state laws and county ordinances pertaining to animal control and management; educate the community on responsible pet ownership and wildlife care and provide housing and care for homeless animals, while coordinating their adoptions when possible and humane euthanization when adoptions are not possible.
