Meet bluetick beauty Tinkerbelle!

Tinkerbelle has spent most of her life living in an outdoor shelter and is still adjusting to housepet status. She loves playing with her toys and using her hound dog nose to sniff out anything and everything. Our curious girl is crate trained and house trained.

Her foster parents are working dilligently on her training. She walks well on leash and will run straight into her crate when getting home. She still has the tendency to jump up so would do best with experienced dog owners, no small children and cats. That said, she is highly motivated by treats and she loves cuddles, so her new family should expect an eager trainee!

We will talk to you and your references to get a feel of what you're looking for in a pet and if the particular pet would be a good fit

A meet and greet will be arranged after you have been approved as an applicant

More about this rescue

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.

We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.

Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals. Paws Across Pittsburgh strongly believes in Force Free training methods for our animals.
