Hi I’m Vivian,
I came to Sheltering Hands two days before I delivered my babies. I’m a small girl but was HUGE. Fortunately a volunteer was willing to take me home and foster me and my babies. I had six adorable healthy kitties who are also ready for their forever homes. My foster said I am a sweet lovable girl who doesn’t mind being picked up, but I do not like to be held tight or restrained.

We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, comprised mainly of volunteers that is dedicated to Improving the lives of cats through humane care, spay/neuter programs, adoptions, education and support services.

We offer several adoption programs including:

Traditional program - all ages

Love for a LifeTime Program - cats 8+ years/humans 75+ years; medical covered through our Clinic (conditions apply) for lifetime of the cat. Contact us for details.

Feel the Love Program - cats FeLV+; medical covered through our Clinic (conditions apply) for the lifetime of the cat. Contact us for details.

Take a Chance on Me Program - overlooked cats due to medical/behavioral concerns; 3-month foster commitment with direct support by our staff
