Hey there! I’m Robert and let me tell you, I may be small, but my heart is mighty! I may seem a bit shy at first, but once I warm up to you and your furry friends, we’ll be the best of pals. I need a bit of time to trust new people and situations, so patience and understanding will help me blossom into the loving pup I know I can be.
I’ve been hanging out with my foster family and their dogs and while I’m still learning to be brave, I’ve been making progress every day. I might have had a few moments where I got startled and unsettled, but hey, who doesn’t have their moments, right? With a stable and confident dog by my side, I know I’ll feel more secure and confident myself.
Despite my occasional nervousness, I’m actually a breeze to take care of. I'm as quiet as a mouse and hardly ever let out a bark! I adore curling up for cozy naps, yet there are moments when I can't resist the urge to zoom around! Soft, squeaky, or squishy toys are my absolute favorite for playtime. And when it's bedtime, you'll find me snuggled up in a basket filled with fluffy blankets, enjoying the comfort of a peaceful night's sleep.
I'm still in the process of mastering house manners like potty training and learning basic commands, but I’ll thrive with a patient family who is committed to continuing to work with me in a positive and supportive manner. And hey, I even met my neighbor, “grandpa Tony,” who’s interested in having a little buddy like me since he lost his chihuahua. Looks like there are positive things on the horizon for me!
