My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please check here for updated adoption hours.

I am looking for a home with a patient person.

I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.

I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you.

I would do best in a home with only adult humans.

Quinn tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. She may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in an experienced, adult only home.

My current foster writes: I'm very friendly, I love to be where you are, rubbing your legs, sitting on your lap, sleeping next to you. I can also sleep on my own in a separate room if you prefer that. But please let me come to you. I don't like being picked up, but if you let me make the first move I will be your best friend. I love to look out windows, chase my toys, and roll around in sunbeams. I'm also perfect about using the litter box, zero accidents!

A volunteer writes: Quinn came to us with a glowing review from her former person: she's friendly and outgoing with strangers, has perfect litterbox habits, and enjoys spending her time near her humans, scratching rope or chasing her toys. She loves looking through windows and chirp at birds, and she sleeps through the night on the same schedule as the rest of the family. In the cat adoption room, Quinn has been cautious and reserved, likely in response to no longer being part of her former household. Slowly but surely she's adjusting, accepting gentle petting and feeling more secure with staff and volunteers. Still, life at the Care Center life seems to be stressing her out, and we'd love to see this lovely lady back in a real home soon. Looking for a cat who can keep herself entertained while she entertains you with her funny feline personality? Then Quinn might be the furbaby for you!
