Reintroducing Ballad! He knows the name Kobe...

This meow meow was adopted out as a kitten, and recently found his way back to SAAP because 4 other cats in the home were reportedly bullying him. He's been back in foster care on a quiet reset, and here's what we can tell you about him...

- has warmed right up to humans in the house. Follows us around, hangs out during tv time, sleeps on our chests at night, and will bat your arms and legs when you leave to tempt you to stay and keep playing...

- may sleep under blankets and beds in the daytime. Not to worry, he's not lost, and will appear shortly when you're back around.

- recently found out he likes to sit on a cat tower and spy on neighbors during the day! Do you want any tea? Ask Kobe!

- is really enjoying having his own space... he's met another tiny foster kitten here and ignored it, and met another adult resident cat which went sort of ok... would need long and slow introductions (think weeks to months) to another pet in the home. Only pet may be the best for him.

- having no issues using the litterbox here in foster care.

Additional adoption info

You are required to sign a legally binding contact on your new pet. As part of that contract, should you no longer be able to keep the animal for any reason, the animal MUST be surrendered back to SAAP. This is to ensure the animal is placed back in foster care while we secure a new approved home for the animal. However, we always try to ensure that the initial placement is best for the pet and your family. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption.

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non profit organization. We are dedicated to the rescue of animals that are in need of a forever home. Our animals are fostered in homes where we provide love, food, medical care and socialization until adoption into a new loving home. We educate on the importance of spaying and neutering of all pets.

We ensure all animals have been spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They are micro-chipped, up to date on shots and on heartworm and anti-flea medications (as age appropriate). They are ready and waiting to start their new life with their fur-ever family. Could that be you?

We need your help to continue our mission. We rely solely on donations and fundraisers. All donations are tax-deductible and 100% of your donation will go towards the rescue, care, and medical needs of the animals.
