My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kachina is a young girl and the life of the party! She is so happy to be in her new world and is ready for a family and adventures. She is a bubbly, bouncy, happy, sweet girl :) Kachina is small for a malamute, weighing about 56 pounds. She would make a great companion for someone who likes the great outdoors and has time to slowly introduce new and exciting things the world offers. She likes to cuddle and is ready to be a couch potato companion for movie nights.

Additional adoption info

Here are three great links that have a very honest description of Alaskan Malamutes: http://www.yourpurebredpuppy.com/reviews/alaskanmalamutes.html and https://dogtime.com/dog-breeds/alaskan-malamute#/slide/1 and also http://eqi.org/malamute.htm.

Please review them carefully before submitting your application.  After you return the application, we'll give you a call to schedule a home visit, and we will also call the vet indicated on your application for a reference. After that we will schedule your home visit. Once your home visit is done and you are approved to adopt, you get to meet the dog(s) that are right for your family and hopefully bring one home.  Please note, we require that you bring your current dogs with you when you come to meet a dog(s) to adopt.
