Meet Teddy Brown, a resilient pup ready to start a new chapter in his life with a loving forever family. Despite a rough start, Teddy's spirit remains undaunted, and he's eager to share his boundless affection with the right dog-savvy household. While he may experience moments of nervousness, Teddy is a happy and loving companion who thrives on interaction and playtime, especially with his beloved toys.

Teddy is leash-trained and enjoys his walks, although he dreams of a home with a secure yard where he can freely explore. He has shown some reactivity to larger dogs while on leash, but can learn with patience and redirection. While Teddy was once familiar with other dogs in his younger days, he hasn't had much recent exposure, so a gradual introduction to potential furry siblings is preferred, or he could thrive as the sole pet in the household.

In his previous home, Teddy mastered the art of potty training, and he's excited to continue learning and adapting to new routines in his forever home. With a bit of understanding and support, Teddy Brown is poised to blossom into the devoted and joyful companion he was always meant to be. Could you be the one to offer him the love and stability he deserves? Please bring all members of the household to the shelter to meet Teddy Brown including current canine companions.

More about this rescue

Arizona Small Dog Rescue is a non profit registered 501(c)3 no kill rescue shelter. We are a group of volunteers who have dedicated our lives to rescuing and saving homeless, unwanted, abandoned, neglected, and abused small dogs. We save most of our animals from kill shelters around the valley, but also accept owner surrenders and stray surrenders. Owner surrender fee’s vary depending on space and availability. We spay/neuter, vaccinate, medically examine, microchip, and evaluate and/or socialize all dogs that come into our rescue before placing up for adoption to pre-screened homes. We rescue many dogs every week and always have a wide variety of personalities and breeds available who would be a perfect fit for any family and any home.
