Mavis came to us very pregnant. She has the silkiest fur ever. And oh so sweet. She will start purring as soon as you walk in the door. She came to us on February 24th and delivered 4 healthy kittens on March 9th. Her kittens will soon be weaned and vaccinated and she will be spayed and vaccinated as well.

Second Chance For Cats is a nonprofit organization set up to spay or neuter homeless felines, and then adopt, relocate, or release these cats. Our goal is to reduce the free roaming cat population in Bluefield, West Virginia and the surrounding area, and to provide ongoing care, including rabies vaccinations, medical treatment, and food for homeless and neglected cats. Our ultimate goal is to have a rescue and no kill shelter.
