Main reason we have to re-home is because he does not do well with kids. Has a tendency to nip them. Unsure of the reason, not sure if it is due to past trauma or another reason. Tried working with him & train. Progress was made, he was getting along with our nephews, but unfortunately without provocation he bit our nephew & broke skin. Good with adults & teens. Gets along with most dogs, not all. Got him from someone else and his history is uncertain. The first day he arrived he appeared malnourished, covered in poo & pee. Barks to go in and out of the house. Knows: sit, lay down, shake, stay, come, & does well on walks. When excited he may try to jump up, responds to being told lay down, it helps calm him down. Brought him to Wrightstown veterinary clinic. I have all of his docs. Haven’t been able to trim his nails. Been desensitizing him. Loves walks, small fetch rounds, pets, belly rubs, snow, car rides, and baths.
