Hi I'm Steve Bob John Wayne! I have quite the name but I'm usually called Steve.
I'm a very social dog, I love all other dogs, I am great with people and I like to snuggle.
I am kennel trained but if I know you are home or coming to get me, I will bark. If no one is around, I settle and sleep in my kennel. I do love playing with toys and I can even entertain myself.
I have met a cat, I'm not mean with the cat but when I see her, I'm pretty much focused on her. She's so cool to watch, I don't want to hurt her...so any home of mine should probably have a cat that is used to cats with a lot of spots for them to sit on.
The wonderful people I'm with, don't understand why I've been with them since December. They say I'm "the best boy" and they can't say enough good things about me!

I am up to date with my rabies, DHPP, I've been on a normal deworming schedule and they give me meds to make sure I get no fleas or ticks! I was also microchipped when I was neutered.

The dogs in our care will be adopted out with an updated vet exam, they will be up to date on their rabies (if of age), and DHPP. All dogs will also be microchipped and dewormed. If they are of age, they will also be altered. We do not do pediatric spays or neuters so a deposit is required at the time of adoption, once the dog is altered, the deposit will be returned.
Due to the American Veterinary Medical Association's recommendation to not spay/neuter dogs under 6 or 12 months depending on breed and our vets recommendation. Large-breed puppies under 6-months will not be altered prior to adoption but do require a deposit that will be returned once your dog is altered. Small breed and adults that are 6-months or older, will be done prior to adoption.
During the time spent at Forever Fido, all dogs will be socialized with many confident and social dogs of all ages, safely interact with kids of many ages, appropriately meet a variety of humans, start potty and crate training, and begin basic puppy manners including impulse control.
