My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there, I'm Chunk! I'm an adult cat with a heart full of love. I'm as loyal as they come, always ready to lend a paw when you need it. I'm sweet too, my purrs are like sugar, melting away your worries. I'm friendly, always up for a chat or a game. I'm gentle, my touch as soft as a whisper. And oh, I'm cuddly, there's nothing I enjoy more than curling up in a warm lap. I've got all the qualities of a great friend, don't you think? I'm looking for a forever home where I can share all this love and warmth. So, if you're looking for a loyal, sweet, friendly, gentle, and cuddly companion, look no further. Adopt me, Chunk, and let's make beautiful memories together.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee.
Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.
