My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Mable needs your help! Can you help us find this sweet as pie, spitfire a foster or forever home? It's hard being a young, active dog in a shelter environment and Mable is prone to getting worked up easily and can become jumpy and mouthy, especially when she is being put back in her kennel- because she really wishes she could stay out and play, play, play!

Mable is a velcro type of dog who would likely live in your skin if she was able to- but settles for trying to hop up in your lap for cuddles. She loves to play with toys, and allowed staff to take them away from her without any issues. During her dog test Mable was very excited for the chance to play with another dog. Her invasiveness and rough play style might be too much for some dogs. Staff is happy to do a meet and greet with any dogs before she goes home to make sure everyone plays nicely, if needed!

Despite being overstimulated at the shelter, Mable has been on her best behavior when she has gotten the chance to go out on dog dates. When out it was reported that she was very calm and did not bark. She was a little nervous in the car and may experience some car sickness, but road well, and laid down. While out she walked around home depot and enjoyed a pup! She does jump up in excitement when first meeting people, but calms down and walks well on leash.

We know Mable has the potential to be the best girl and we hope to get her out of the shelter soon so she can start living her best life!
