Meet Hefe ("boss"):
Age:3-4 years old
Size: 50-60 lbs
Breed: Australian shepherd

Temperament: Sweet
Home requirements: Fenced in yard with room to run! No Cats!

Hefe is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and heartworm negative. He is crate trained and house trained.

Hefe was neutered by AMWB back in Dec 2023. Since then, His family got divorced and mom moved into a much smaller place without a fenced in yard. They decided that it would be best for Hefe to find a new home verses being miserable in a such a small place.

1.
Submit Application

Applications let us know about you, your home and what you are looking for in a pet. Take time to fill these out. This is our first glimpse.

2.
Interview

Your application looks good. We might still have some question. You might have questions too. Foster parent will reach out to you.

3.
Meet the Pet

Adoption is a family decision. We want to meet with everyone in the home including current dogs.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

If everything works out at the meet and greet, the contract is signed. You agree to keep your dog safe, register their microchip. etc

5.
Take the Pet Home

Often times the pet can go home same day. If you are not ready, let us know we will give you a couple of days to get prepared.

A small foster based rescue located in Acworth, Georgia helping local dogs that need us the most.

The Amazing Mutts and Wiggle Butts difference
We will help when we can and where we can. Often times those dogs in our local community that need us the most.
-All of our dogs are in loving foster homes where they can learn best what it is to be a part of the family; we never board our babies.
-Each dog that does through our rescue will have Lifetime membership. If they need to come back for any reason we welcome them with open arms.
-Ohana means family and family means no one is left behind or forgotten. When a family of pups is in need we help the whole family.
