Has a kitty best friend! Please consider adopting them together.
My suspicion about Kirby's history is that she has lived her short life kept in a crate. There is a house behind me where I've witnessed first hand some animal abuse - and I'm almost positive it was this dog that was being abused.
About a month later, the dog (plus a cat (Robbie)) showed up inside my fenced yard (they most likely squeezed through a gap in fence). Kirby is happy being in her crate as long as she can still see me, but as soon as I'm out of sight - she starts crying.
She is truly one of the sweetest, funny, most playful, and snuggly pups I've ever met but she has these challenges. She would do best with a retired person or someone that works from home as she needs lots of training, love, and attention.
I would prefer Kirby and Robbie go to a home together because they have such a nice bond, but would be willing to adopt her out without Robbie to the right pet parent.
