Older grumpy weiner dog lovers! Little dog with a personality of an 80 lb dog. Lo Siento is the perfect definition of the trail mix that's sweet and salty at the same time! He’s perfectly content doing his own thing.
Hello. My name is Lo Siento. I ended up in rescue after misbehaving in my previous home, hence my new ridiculously appropriate name my foster parents gave me. The truth is, I am confident, onery, stubborn and I do what I want. I have to admit that I hate the vet, so I have to be muzzled when I go. I can't help it. Before SOCA, I heard from my previous owners of 6 years that I was going to the vet to be euthanized. My human BFF passed away and I didn't take it very well so... I did some things that I am sorry for.
SOCA took me in and taught me how to trust and re-love again. I am crate trained, potty trained, and leash trained. I am crate trained, but I can also be left free roam when you're gone. A simple 'crate up' and I can be crated. I like to go on walks and I bark at noises approaching the house. I love to run through sprinklers, and I secretly love baths. I am currently in a home with dogs of all sizes and I must say, I am a bit bossy. I also grumble when the big dogs bump into me, but that's as far as I take it. I can't help that I have 80 lb personality in a 17 lb body. Because of my grumpiness and how I want to live my life, I would do best in a older human household only. No little kids please. I tolerate the 14 year old in the home. Once I get to know you, I love to lay and rub against you to ask for pets and I'll even roll on my back for tummy rubs. There is a sweet side of me amongst my little dog toughness. I don't play with toys or other dogs. I prefer to mingle and co-exist doing my own thing, Independently...like observe from a distance. My adoption fee is $200 locally in Houston, TX. I am up to date on all my vaccines, neuter, microchipped, tested heartworm negative and on monthly prevention.
