My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Peyton, a 14 month old, 46-pound mixed breed dog with a heart as big as her determination to overcome past challenges. Peyton's journey at her foster home has been marked by her remarkable ability to form deep bonds with her canine companions. She thrives in the company of other dogs, plays well outside, and would flourish in a home with furry friends to keep her company.
Peyton's gentle nature shines brightest when surrounded by her dog companions. The company of her fellow canines helps Peyton as she continues to work on coming out of her shell.
Peyton's journey towards growth and transformation is ongoing, and she approaches life on her own terms. With patience, understanding, and a willingness to embrace her unique quirks, Peyton has the potential to become an incredible companion for the right individual or family.
Adopting Peyton promises countless rewards as she continues to evolve and blossom. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a special dog who's still finding her place in the world, Peyton could be the perfect match for you.

Peyton is currently located at a foster home in Tennessee, but we have regular transports up to Columbus, IN.  All adoptions take place at Speck's in Columbus, IN.
