A volunteer writes: Zeusy Roll, like his rhyming namesake the tootsie roll, is a sweet chunk! Zeusy literally bounces around the yard, making circles with his toy. On each pass he makes sure to bounce towards us to show off his toy - "look what I got!" Then bounces away happily for his next lap. In addition to his love of toys, Zeus and I share another passion - food! He curiously takes his spot at the bar and partakes of the fruit buffet we have that day. In a surprising turn of events he LOVES our fresh pineapple and comes back for seconds and thirds.

Zeusy was surrendered due to conflicts with neighbors and a landlord following a move. He is said to be shy with strangers and hide at first, preferring contact when he is ready. Once he is ready he is said to be friendly and playful, as he was with us! Zeusy is reactive to dogs and other animals, so he needs a home without them and one where he can be managed around other animals outdoors. He is just 2 years old and will need support learning how to settle and relax. Zeusy loves food, and would do wonderfully with positive reinforcement training!
