My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy is an absolute sweetheart who seeks out attention from everyone who comes to visit! She had an abdominal hernia that was surgically fixed, but has a remaining lump post-operatively. All of her blood work and tests have shown her to be a completely healthy senior kitty. She is friendly with people, dogs and other cats!
Lucy came to us in 2021 from a hoarding situation after her previous owner passed away, and has been in foster care while searching for her forever home ever since.

Approximately 12-14 years old
. Female, spayed domestic shorthair.
Vaccinated against Rabies and FVRCP

More about this rescue

We are a foster-based nonprofit animal rescue organization based in northern NJ and founded by veterinary technicians who hold the belief that every animals deserves a safe place to call home. We focus on the overlooked, special needs, and senior cats and dogs who may have otherwise been deemed “damaged.”

Our mission is to advocate for animals by providing fulfillment of their physical, mental, and emotional needs and to provide public education to improve their quality of care throughout all life stages. We aim to build a community of responsible and educated pet owners and to improve relationships between members of the animal community including veterinary professionals, pet owners and individual animal advocacy groups. Our primary focus is dogs and cats in the tri-state area, though we strive to network with groups who work with all species in order to provide resources for those in need.
