Howdy partner! I'm Cowboy, a spry little pup with a heart full of love. My days are filled with chasing my tail, exploring every nook and cranny, and playing with my chew toys. I've got energy to spare and a curiosity that keeps me on my paws. My goofy antics are sure to bring a smile to your face. I'm as sweet as a sugar cube and friendly to everyone I meet. You won't find a more loyal companion than me. Adopting me means embarking on a lifetime of fun-filled adventures, laughter, and unconditional love. So, what do you say? Animals are available by walk-in on a first-come, first-served basis. Appointments are also available for select animals. Check each animals' bio for more information.

To adopt a pet from the SPCA of Texas, we not only help make love connections, but we then walk you through an adoption process that is geared to ensuring you and the pet are a great match. There is a contract to sign at the end of the process. Adoption fees are as follows:

Puppies 0-6 months: $150
Adult dogs 6 months or older: $75

The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations (which can include Rabies, Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Parainfluenza and Bordetella), spay/neuter surgery, deworming treatment, initial heartworm preventative, a rabies tag, Free health examination within fourteen days of the adoption thanks to our partnership with VCA Animal Hospitals, a leash and a microchip. Dogs over 6 months of age are also given a heartworm test (SNAP occult). Free week of training through Good Pup.

Also included is a free week of training through Good Pup.

The SPCA of Texas is the leading animal welfare organization in North Texas.
