What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Chief was born on July 4th, 2017. Given the breed and personality, Chief would thrive best in the environment where he is allowed freedoms to remain alert and aware of his surroundings. He is a protection breed and may take a second to get warmed up, but will not take very long to get used to you. The quickest way to build his trust is by getting him on a leash. He heels on or off leash. He heels while riding a bicycle, dirt bike, quad, walking, or running. Can sit, stay, shake. He is trained on an ecollar and listens very well. He needs a responsible owner who is willing to give him structure. He is good with dogs if introduced properly and given the proper amount of time. He is good around cats. Not sure about kids. He would thrive with a job, such as working on a farm. If you are serious about adopting him, I'd love to consider you as his new pet parent.
