🖤🩶🤍Meet Ajax, a “Sato dog” from Puerto Rico! A “Sato dog” refers to the small to medium-sized stray dogs in Puerto Rico. Island dogs are smart, loving, highly trainable, and make devoted companions. There is no love like the love of an island dog.

Ajax and her 4 siblings were rescued in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. (Parents unknown). Ajax is sweet and is still a little bit on the shy side. She has adjusted well in her foster home on the island and once she arrives in the states she will share her new foster home with two dog friends. She will work on socialization, crate, potty, basic leash training, etc. Ajax has been around cats, but has yet to have contact with younger kids (likely no issues if introducing properly). Stay tuned for more details. This sweetie sure will make a great companion!😊
