My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Odie! I’m almost 6 months old and am a hunk of love at 40 pounds. I came into the rescue after I hurt my leg, and my previous was unable to fix me. A fabulous foster stepped up so I could get all fixed up and find my perfect forever home. I'm all healed up and ready to steal hearts. I’m the biggest cuddle bug, and once I bond with my person, I’ll be your best friend. I give the BEST snuggles. I am good with all people and love other animals. I would definitely love a home with another puppy to play with or an active family! I love to run and play and I love water too! I'm a simple guy who only wants a home with lots of snackies, an abundance of toys, and a family to shower me in love me. My fosters are still working on potty training, but I’m doing really well with only a few accidents on the days my foster family works longer. I'm still a puppy, so continued training will be needed. I LOVE to learn, and my foster family says I'm a really smart boy who learns quickly! Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful animals, we ask that you please fill out our online application: https://form.jotform.com/223268341300041 We are a 100% volunteer organization and have to work other jobs to pay the bills. Please give us up to 48 hours to respond. Submission of an adoption application does not obligate you to adopt nor does it guarantee approval. We look forward to hearing from you.May 5, 2024, 7:43 pm

More about this rescue

Rosalie and Friends was created out of the President's dedication to help the under dogs and cats. She has taken in and rehabilitated the sick and injured for years. Late 2022 a well respected animal 501c3, Friends of the Escambia County Animal Shelter, dissolved and turned the organization over to Rosalie and Friends. We have assumed responsibility of several programs from them, to include sponsorship for heartworm treatment of animals adopted through the shelter. We also provide medical assistance for shelter animals and have a fospice program to get senior pets from the shelter and into loving homes through end of life. Our logo is "Fospice and fixer uppers" but that has not stopped us from helping others that cross our paths.
