My name is Calypso (pending adoption)!

Hi everyone!

I'm a newer face to FDHS and recently arrived with two of my babies. The nice humans here have been calling me 'Calypso' and have been helping me and my kittens SO MUCH! I was found as a scared and struggling new mother outside and exposed. My finder's knew that I needed help and had not always lived as an outdoor cat. I was not equipped to defend myself against the elements or predators that wanted to harm me and my young. 

Despite having a rough beginning, I'm an excellent mom to my kittens and have a very friendly, upbeat personality. I really enjoy attention from the staff and all the extra meals I've been getting. The staff assures me that with my charm and cuteness, I'm going to find myself a forever home in no time! 

Although I won't be ready to leave the shelter until my babies are weaned, I'd love to get a head-start on finding my forever family and am accepting adoption applications to do so.
