His love for treats is matched only by his love for human companionship, and he thrives on the attention and affection of his devoted friends.

One of Beethoven's endearing quirks is his blissful ignorance of his own size. Though he may tower over some of his canine counterparts, Beethoven sees himself as a lap dog at heart, eager to snuggle up with anyone willing to share a cozy spot.

Unfortunately, Beethoven came to the Forsyth County Pet Resource Center heartworm positive, but the good news is that we will provide the necessary treatment for him at no additional cost to you! While Beethoven is undergoing heartworm treatment, he will be placed in our Foster-to-Adopt (FTA) program so that you can start bonding with your new pet and give him a calm place to get better! Heartworm treatment is very safe, and the success rate is high, the Pet Resource Center prefers dogs like Beethoven to recover in a home with an adopter rather than in a shelter.
