My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Perfection. If you had to ask any shelter staff about Sky's temperament, that's the response you would receive. Sky greets everyone with the happiest whole-body wiggles, and her big smile will melt your heart.

This affectionate girl found herself in need of a new home after she was surrendered due to having accidents in the house. It was later discovered that Sky was battling a urinary tract infection (UTI), which has since been treated and resolved. Now feeling much better, Sky is eager to embrace a fresh start. She's no stranger to the hustle and bustle of family life, having previously lived with children and winning their hearts with her gentle nature and playful antics. Sky is a social butterfly who thrives in the company of other dogs, enjoying spirited romps and engaging in rough-and-tumble play. Prospective adopters are welcome to bring along their resident canines for a meet and greet at the shelter to ensure compatibility.

Sky is ready to embark on a new adventure with a loving family who will cherish her for the remarkable companion she is. Could you be the one to make Sky's dreams come true? Meet this delightful pup today and discover the joy of adding her to your family!

More about this shelter

With an open admission policy, a No-Kill philosophy, and more than 3,100 animals crossing our threshold each year, we have still maintained a 98% placement rate over the last 3 years.

This is an amazing feat for any organization…let alone one that takes in some of the most abused, injured and seriously ill animals imaginable.
