Meet the amazing beagle mix we call Bonito. He walks well on leash and is playful with other dogs. We suspect from his behavior in the kennel that he may be housetrained, or kennel trained. Adoption viewing hours are from 8:00an-4:30 pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays 12pm-2pm. You must have a valid drivers license to apply. We do not do home checks. Adoption fees are $35 for dogs/pups, $25 cats/kittens and $150 for horses.

Effective Monday, August 17,2015, LAFAYETTE ANIMAL SHELTER & CARE CENTER will begin accepting VISA, MASTERCARD and DISCOVER credit cards. There will be a 2.5% surcharge/convenience fee added to your total. This fee is not greater than our cost of acceptance.

Our adoption program consists of dogs, cats and horses. All animals available for adoption are fully vetted, UTD on vaccinations, micro-chipped, spay/neutered, dewormed and heartworm tested.
