What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Myra is a very smart 4 y.o. 25 lb lab mix came to us 3 mon. ago from a home that was not able to give her enough time, attention, & exercise. We have.
She is:
well trained, sweet, healthy, current on vaccines, well behaved with other dogs, kids, crowds, calm in chaos, crate & house trained.
She has: flea/tick/heartworm meds for several months, leashes, collars, crate, beds, bowls, food, etc.
Myra loves: to walk on leash, let us know strangers approach, learning new things, showing off.
Our difficulty has been aggressive playing behavior: this happens with our other dog, our 12 y.o. son, & our chickens. She plays too rough & is causing minor injuries to the dog & boy & terrorizes chickens.
She will be a great dog to someone or a smaller family where: “alpha” is clear, she is leash walked regularly, given regular “work” in form of commands & learning.
We just can't provide that on a “farm” with many people coming into her territory.
