Ramona ACCt-A-162150 is a 4-year-old female who came in as a stray on 4/17.
Per volunteer 4/21:
Ramona absolutely LOVES to play and has endless zoomies to show you. She is a fetch master but does tend to drop the ball like ten feet away making you walk for it, lol. She is very dog friendly but will get frustrated by a barrier. A small dog got loose and came up to Ramona while we were in the big run. She was initially greeting the loose dog normally but got frustrated by the fence between them and started going over threshold, barking frantically and jumping at the fence. I redirected with her with fetch and that worked well. Despite being high energy she is leash trained and does not pull. Ramona has great manners, does not jump or mouth no matter how excited she gets and tries her best to slow down before coming back to you from her zoomies.
During a behavioral assessment on 4/18, staff noted: "Ramona remained wiggly and explored the room. She took treats gently but was more focused on playing and getting attention. She would lean in while petting her and had stellar manners, never becoming mouthy or jumpy. When a new handler entered the room she was wiggly towards them as well and greeted them with soft body language.
An intake exam on 4/17 found Ramona to be in good general health and "friendly, sweet, cuddly, did well with restraint and handling.
