MIA is a 2 year old plott hound that weighs 49 lbs. She was found underneath a porch during a cold spell this past winter. She was very thin and had lost most of her coat. Mia was otherwise healthy so time, patience and TLC and she's ready for adoption! Her coat is starting to grow back, albeit slowly. Sometimes hair loss this severe can takes months. now, almost 4 months after she came in, we know she's a brindle.
She is a very sweet, affectionate dog. She will bond closely with her forever family. She gets along well with other dogs and would be fine with children. Needless to say, she is not fond of cold or rainy weather. She's been recovering in a great foster home and now she's crate, house and leash trained. Are the perfect fit for this pup? Can you help her to her final "glow up?"
If interested in adopting, our process begins with submission of our application. Please visit our website at www.adoptmebluegrasspetrescue.com and click on Mia's picture in "Adoptable Dogs". Additional adoption FAQ's can be found here also. Meets will be set with approved applicants based on our "best family fit" approach.
