My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Claus is a 2 year old Alaskan malamute. He is a big dog but thinks he’s a lap dog. Incredibly sweet and loving to both people as well as other animals! He previously lived with 5 other dogs and had zero issues and loved to play with them! He is a good listener and wants to be a good dog. He has good manners but gets excited when he meets new people and may jump on them. It only takes a few minutes for him to calm down and once he knows you he does not jump. Claus has basic training like sit, lay down, and shake. He gets very excited to go on walks but once you’re going he listens well and has no interest in going to sniff other dogs. Because of his current situation his training skills haven’t been in use as frequently as before, so he may need to go to 1-2 training classes to get back into the groove. He is happy to listen to you but just needs a little refresher!
