Asher was found as a stray around peoples homes. He is very friendly and used to being with people and handled. Loves pets, rubs against you and gives head butts. Easily picked up and held. He is a very nice cat. We cannot believe no one has come for this boy

Cat adoption fees are $40 (cash or check), and include spay/neuter and rabies.

The City of Mesquite Animal Shelter helps reunite lost pets with their owners, cares for the animals brought to the shelter, and handles pet adoptions. Our Animal Control officers take part in public safety, resolve animal and pet issues, enforce city ordinances, perform welfare checks, process/investigate bite reports, and fulfill rabies quarantines.
