Additional adoption info

We require that you fill out an adoption application for all animals. The application will be reviewed and references checked. We have an adoption contract that will be completed upon adoption approval. The adoption fee for a dog under 6 yrs old is $200, seniors over 6 yrs old is $120. A cat under 6 yrs old is $100, seniors over 6 are $80. All our animals are altered, current on all vaccinations, given flea treatments as well as heartworm preventative.

We are located at 3847 Sheldon Street on the corner of Sheldon and Marsh streets in the village of Carsonville, Michigan. Our visiting hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. We do have some of our cats available to view and adopt at the PetSmart store in Fort Gratiot, Michigan.

We are a non-profit, no-kill shelter. The purpose of the society is to endeavor to prevent cruelty and to relieve suffering of companion animals by providing adequate shelter, food, water and humane care for homeless, abandoned, mistreated and otherwise distressed cats and dogs found, surrendered or brought to and accepted by the Society and to endeavor to place them in a suitable environment.
