Howdy! My name is Grizzly, I'm about 2years old, and am a very striking black male German Shepherd. I am located in Greeneville Tennessee and am available for transport to my forever home.
I have had a horribly start to life. I was left outside to die, no food, water, or shelter. Thanks to a good samaritan, I was found and transferred into the rescue where I've been nursed back to health!
I'm a BIG boy with a strong personality! I will need to be adopted to someone who has extensive German Shepherd experience/knowledge. I am a sweet boy but I do best with stern direction. I want to be the boss but it's best that my owner be the boss!
My ideal home is with someone who will love me, train me, and let me follow them around wherever they go. I need to steer clear of homes with cats, small dogs, and kids. I would be okay as an only dog as long as I get lots of attention. I am content to chill with my person or go for the occasional walk/hike.
If you are an experienced GSD owner looking for a BIG boy, one who is resilient, smart, strong, curious, and has a mild temperament - I'm your guy!

***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted
-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time
-Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our wonderful dogs!
