My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Elvira is very sweet & has never bitten or scratched anyone. Sometimes she likes space, sometimes she likes to melt into your lap & nap. She purrs when she is gently pet & scratched behind her ears & along her neck. She likes to bump heads with her chosen people. On rare treat occasions, Elvira will meow for your attention or outstretch her paw to you. She lets you know by stiffening her body if she doesn't want to be picked up.

If she is uncomfortable, she sometimes freezes still in the same spot, & has a naughty penchant for chewing on cables, cords, wires. She does not like the outdoors (an instance where she freezes up).

Elvira has had a close cat friend & a small, calm chihuahua friend, but is afraid of big dogs & runs away cowering. She play fights (no injuries) with her cat friend but doesn't play much by herself with toys. She delights most in playing with the door of her litter box. Elvira is overall a calm young kitty who thrives with love & a calm, low stress amosphere.
